As part of the ‘Nine Trades of Dundee’ project we have an education-focussed strand.

School workshop: Nine Trades artist Alan Grieve led a workshop with Braeview Academy pupils.

Apprenticeships: We recruited Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design students as Nine Trades of Dundee 'Apprentices'. They acted as artists' assistants, giving them the benefit of creative and professional development through working on a live project. They gained an understanding of how an artist engages with context and community of interest, in this case trade. All the 'Apprentices' have made a big impact on the projects they contributed to and have played an essential role in their success.
