April 2011: We received fantastic feedback from a Nine Trades of Dundee presentation at Engaging, Creating: Artist & Maker Residencies in Public Space, a Sackler conference at the V&A.
November 2010 : Our publication was launched in November. Please get in touch if you would like a copy of this this book which tells the story of the project and what we learned and has essays by Jenny Brownrigg and John Dummett.
Events Diary
Our Final Gathering event happened on Saturday 17 July at the Visual Research Centre in Dundee.
At this event we presented artworks, documentation and souveniers of the projects alongside scheduled events like a walking tour by Clare Thornton where she wore her hand-made trenchcoat as she walked from VRC to McManus where the coat will be placed on display alongside other Nine Incorporated Trades of Dundee artifacts, a free screening of Grease shown with a short documentary made on the night we screened Grease at Chris Dyson's drive-in for the Mitchelin staff and other talks from the artists.
