On Saturday 17th July 2010 we held a Final Gathering public event at the Visual Research centre in Dundee Contemporary Arts. This was a vibrant event where visitors were able to learn about the projects and see some of the activity and artwork which has been produced.
It's not actually as final as we had previously thought as Debbie Lawson's project will continue through to October and we are also working on a publication.
On the day there was info about all the artists' projects, special installations, documentation, films & activities all day in the VRC. The artists also presented timed events:
Chris Dyson introduced his film 'Working Methods' made at Michelin Tyre PLC
Ben Robinson & his HBoS colleagues spoke about their doodle-based printmaking project
Clare Thornton took visitors on a stroll to the McManus uncovering tools of the trade en route
'Grease' was screened with our special trailer about our Michelin drive-in movie event
Alistair Wilson spoke about 'My life before Ange Tagtool' followed by a talk by 'BitchesTeaBoys' AKA Billy Howe & Bruce Mills
Fraser MacDonald presented the 'Garbologists'
The McManus held a Family Art Session inspired by Clare Thornton's project
